Weighing and sorting your hogs has just become easier thanks to a new technology. OptiSCAN is a mobile hog scale that lets you easily determine a hog’s weight on the spot. The digital scanner takes a top view of the animal and software then determines and displays its weight on the connected computer tablet using thermal imaging and a state of the algorithm. Tested on more than 100,000 swine for accuracy.

The OptiScan system allows anyone to easily check a hog’s weight. It is most accurate weighing hogs between 110lbs. and 275 lbs (50-125kg). Above or below these weights its accuracy drops slightly.
